There’s a few fundamental errors US Traitors makes in adapting this format, the key one being the blend of reality tv stars with average joes. This lead to the celebrities being favoured in the edit with some of the regular people being completely shafted before being voted off. There were also only three people who got real storylines, whereas virtually everyone in the UK version had some sort of growth or arc. Also HATE how over-explained everything is, so much of Alan Cumming’s narration is completely unnecessary. That being said, the format is strong enough to carry it through, and there are some really good twists and turns towards the end, leading to an ultimately satisfying final stretch.
