I’m mesmerized by how great the production design and action sequences are. A fantastic miniseries. Yet I feel like this doesn’t get enough attention because it’s always compared to Band of Brothers. That’s unfair to The Pacific because Band of Brothers is the best miniseries of all time. Nonetheless, this movie holds its own as an impressive miniseries. Loved the opening theme/score, the action, the performances and the Tom Hanks narrated mini docs before each episode. Beautiful piece of work.
