I have to let everyone knkw that I am in love with Aizawa. Been my man since 2020😞🙏
Ok, ok, this is definitely getting more interesting and I’m extremely grateful for that.
The only complaint I have is Mineta. I’m sorry, but he’s beyond irritating and I hate him with my entire soul. I loathe perverted characters. Especially in a show that is centered around TEENAGERS, is the trope disturbing and repulsive. There’s no need to be treating these teenage girls this way. There shouldn’t be tropes like this for any gender or identity, but it’s mainly prevalent with young girls. It’s disappointing that such strong, intelligent, and compelling women can be shut down that quick. Let’s clarify that I love Tsu and Momo. I think they’re really, really cool and Tsu reminds me of my sister. What’s not to like about them? Why do we have to take away from their identity to appeal to a specific audience? Sexual jokes can be made in a way that isn’t offensive or straight up disgusting. Adult animations can sometimes get away with more grotesque humor, so I’m not saying it’s all bad, but there’s a time and a place. This is a show about strong and courageous young women and men. There shouldn’t be degrading humor that’s deeply rooted in misogyny.
Ignoring that bit, I did enjoy seeing these teens face actual opponents. I love learning all about the quirks they have and how they use them. I’m also starting to see what weaknesses certain characters have. Some don’t analyze as well as others, which can cause a disruption in plans. Others are over analytical and begin to doubt what they can do. Even though it causes a small panic, they push through and prove themselves worthy of a leader. Can you tell I love Iida? Absolutely adore his character. Oh, oh! And I love seeing more scenes of the pro hero’s. Thirteen is super cool!! We all know I love Aizawa, but I have to compliment his little scenes. I throughly enjoyed the “new” knowledge of the other things he can do.
(Also, I wanted to add that all of these logs are marked as Disney+. It is the premium subscription that is linked in with Hulu. However, I watched it through the app of Disney+.I didn’t want to cause confusion! Thanks! :) )
