As a huge DMC fan I'm kinda disappointed. Idk why they're trying to push this "nobody wins in war" theme but that just isn't Devil May Cry imo. Only the first 2 episodes really had that DMC theme tbh. (Edit 4/12/25: I could understand one could consider it to be a solid show on its own, but as a DMC adaptation...meh) Story: 6/10 Characters: 7/10 Animation: 8/10 (Good 2d animation, kinda spoiled by the 3d animation) Soundtrack: 8.9/10 Best episode: 6 (Even though it didn't really fit into the DMC theme I did like how it was done at least) Best fight: Dante vs mercenaries (ep 2) MVPS of the season: 1.
