just a perfect season of television. practically a 9 hour cinematic movie of destiny, epic battles, amazing dialogue, angelic soundtracks, & a perfect mix of characters you love & hate. this season is in my opinion the closest thing you’ll get to the caliber of prime game of thrones. from the opening minutes of the season, tlk just screams at us, look we have an insane budget & one of the most insane female characters you’ll ever see! with an all-timer szn opening episode, all 10 eps deliver with straight consistency & heat, not one ep dipping below a 4 ⭐️ & every other ep being a 4.5 the world-building this season is also so smooth, like everything & everyone already belongs in this show, they’re all so good looking, well casted & well acted. i swear they snagged the actress for skade out of some norwegian stronghold. that woman has such a haunting feel to her yet she’s so irresistible. an unforgettable character. also just props again to the mini littlefinger in harry mcentire… such an unforgettable & twisted performance! i promise you the soundtracks & visuals for this show will make any human levitate & is enough to watch this alone. the show can almost end here with how perfect the ending is, but bebbanburg is & always was the main focus for uhtred. he has been driven by a mix of revenge, bravery & courage his entire life & none of that will leave him till he takes it back.
