Loved the noir influence in this episode, especially with the cinematography & the rain! I was already a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal & Peter Sarsgaard, & am also impressed with the performances of Ruth Negga (who plays Gyllenhaal’s wife), O-T Fagbenle (June’s husband in Handmaid’s Tale; here he plays the new DA). Also the character development is so complex & well written for Gyllenhaal’s best friend, played by Bill Camp. Didn’t really like how this ended, hopefully they won’t take the show in that direction…
