I feel like I've been a pioneer with the TV shows that eventually become a hype and trend. I watched Severance in 2022 just because I had AppleTV+ for free, and the synopsis was so so interesting. I acknowledge that some episodes might seem slow for some people that need a rush of action all the time, that do not reach the point to concentrate enough to enjoy the details and speed in which all scenes develop in order to build the concept of the series. For me, it was perfect, but I knew I had to recommend it with a filter of people who could really value the merit of the plot and speed. Now, yes, I was one of those people who waited 3 years to watch the 2nd season, still with AppleTV+, it's definitely the streaming-service with the highest quality/investment in TV shows. This season was out of this world, and the hype the season came with, mostly from English-speaking public, shaped the whole experience of watching it. That community is way more stimulating, and it deserves that popularity bc it's so well-produced. By the time I watched the 1st season, it became one of my favs, within my top 10 fav TV shows ever, and now, in 3 years, I've watched more than 30 TV shows, and it's still one of my favs.
