Every episode is a masterpiece. I have of course heard the quote, “It’s your first time living and it’s also your parents’ first time being parents” (not verbatim) and I think this series did not just visualises it, it brings you along the journey of what it means to love someone to death and smile while crying through the ups and downs in life. To know what it’s like receiving and giving endlessly and to always make the decision to choose your other person regardless. I was a rebellious little teen and then a young father, a middle-aged mother and suddenly I was a grandfather. I went through all the “What ifs” and all the “I should have been better” to only come to a conclusion that, with the right person by your side, nothing will ever be to big to break. Nothing is every to hard to pass and nothing is ever to heavy to lift. This series made me think of myself, past and future and my parents. How they have lived through parenthood 6 times, challenged, suffered, recovered and would love to do it all over again. All the heartbreak and pain. All the happy little moments and pride. Aging is scary and it scares them yet it doesn’t hit us children all the same. Romance is a big part of this series but the main focus is the level of give one would do for their loved ones. Nothing is one sided. Everyone gives up on something for the others. May we all be surrounded by love and peace.
