Damn it feels nice to have a great season 2 after waiting 3 years, at least one show could nail the followup. Anyways, I think I would say I enjoyed this season slightly more than season 1. I think the highs are higher, but that the weak areas are about as weak, unfortunately. It seemed as if Iriving and Dylan this season would have a more important role, but this time they are fairly distant from the team after episode 4 which was a shame. Cobel gets an entire episode which really should have been a sideplot in another episode, because man was that dull after the masterpiece that was 2x7. I would say she is the least interesting part of the show for me, and if I am being honest, I don't the actress is very good at acting. However, episodes like 2x4, 2x7 and 2x10 are what make this season go from a decent followup season to a great one. Gemma and her whole story in Lumon was great to explore, and I hope there is more on that soon enough. What they did with Helly and Mark was also really good, but I don't think the Helena stuff was utilised anywhere near as much as it could have been. Mark takes centre stage this time, as the side characters aren't seen as much because they all have there own things going on. I prefer the group being together, and it seems like that won't be around longer, but oh well. Similar to season 1, the show just looks incredible, especially 2x7 which is one of the most beautiful looking episodes I've ever seen. The acting, except from Cobel is excellent, and everything just comes together so nicely in an excellent finale that is one of the shows best. It's going to be diffiuclt waiting for this show to return, but as long as it is of similar quality to this, I am willing to wait a while.
