I need to rewatch this quickly before season 2 premiere is released. This pilot still is one of the best pilot ever made, my t12 pilot so far. The acting performance of Pedro Pascal is impressive as always, especially in that last scene with his daughter… [❗️SPOILERS❗️]There a few things I didn’t noticed in first watch, especially the parallels from Joel with his daughter to him with Ellie. As the watch being fixed by his daughter at the beginning of the episode and then Ellie telling him "your watch is broken" later in this same episode. And at the end, when he is facing the guard and kill him, obvious parallel to that last scene of his daughter of course. Only difference is that Ellie survived, his daughter didn’t. I watched the pilot a week ago but I didn’t review it since I wasn’t planning on watching the whole season but only the pilot and maybe the final, as I wanted to remember how the season started and ended, to be ready for next season. However, after reading the review of @Toastie @Rustt and @3Suspect I noticed I forgot too many things as characters’ deaths, that Ellie is immume (yeah I know it’s the plot lol), and so on… So I will rewatch the whole season instead of only few episodes. — ★★★★☆ 𝟴.𝟳/𝟭𝟬 — @_Sleepy_ @dxrio
