It’s been an hour since I’ve finished this episode and wow, I’m still speechless. The whole time, I thought this would be the series finale, “The First Kiss That Never Ends“ would only serve as an epilogue. Imagine my face when I realized we are very far from the end, there’s still so much story to these amazing characters!

Now to the actual episode: perfection. Maybe not compared to other episodes but who actually gives a fuck about this. It’s been a very long time since an anime had me this engaged, making me care about the diverse cast of  characters like Kaguya-Sama did. 

I. Was. Hooked. The whole episode I waited for them to finally show the long overdue kiss between two people destined to be together. THEY FINALLY KISSED I CANT. Miyuki‘s plan was, in fact, ridiculous but so in-character for him that I just couldn’t help but cry tears of happiness. Even Kaguya herself said his plan was ridiculous but in such a Kaguya way, my heart melted. She’s such a tragic character, we’ve seen her struggling with herself, even at the supposed end of this story, I cried so much, wow. Please Miyuki, show her that her self image is wrong. Everyone deserves a person like that, I can tell you it’s the best feeling in the world to have someone care about you like that. I could talk about so many things in this finale but I wouldn’t do it justice anyway so what’s the point.

This season finale was everything I hoped for. Literally can’t wait to read the manga now, I need to know how their story continues. I also need to see how Ishigami develops after all these events, he might be the most relatable character in the whole show. However, the manga will have to wait, still have so many series‘ laying on my shelf. Additionally, I will read Blue Box next. Two romance manga back to back might not be the smartest decision for my grades and mental state.
