Good, but inconsistent opening season. It lays the foundation for future seasons, while not doing anything amazing at the same time. The flashbacks were very hit or miss. They elevated some episodes, but made others a chore to get through. The size of the cast can also be a bit of a detriment, as some of the more interesting characters are often sidelined for several episodes in exchange for weaker characters. The mystery element really didn’t pull me in until the last few episodes. A decent introduction to the story overall.
