𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆? As part of the community, that episode hit hard. I am now totally heartbroken after watching this episode. This definitely go in the top emotional rollercoaster episodes I’ve ever witnessed. I even couldn’t write the review directly so I watched next ep directly after instead. Anyway, this episode was incredible. With an amazing story telling. Both of the major plots (homosexuality and Billy’s illnes) has been dealt perfectly. Both including sadness and fear, even so I would say both was more focus on one of those emotion. As every scene about the homophobia/homosexuality made me felt pretty sad and sick to my stomach, while Billy scared me as hell. I loved David this episode, he made a great queer representation, and if I could meet him I would thank him for punching that guy at the funeral, for standing against homophobia so many times that I cannot count it in this episode. And of course, I am also so proud of him. He came out not once but twice in a short lapse of time, to his mom and to Rico. Both of those scenes affected me deeply. Ruth was so adorable and it was a good representation of how difficult it can be to know how to react to a coming out, to be sure that you say the right words. The scene with Rico left me speechless. I was expecting that at one point some important character would react in a bad way to David’s homosexuality, but I wasn’t expecting it to comes from Rico. I believe/hope that he is more embarrassed than truly against it, but still, that’s one of the scene from this episode that affected me the most. 𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒐𝒌𝒂𝒚. 𝑰'𝒎 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐𝒐. Claire storyline hasn’t be that interesting in those last episodes but I still wanna use that quote from Gabe because it resumed this episode perfectly. For me, this is exactly how being queer feel like. Being afraid but at least, you are not alone because the whole community will always be there for you.
