(the original series from 1998 - 2000) I didn't expect this to be as great as it was, let alone a nearly perfect masterpiece when my exceptions were just thinking it'll be only decent or a somewhat interesting entry of late 20th century media. Just about every element from the story to the consistently engaging writing to the characters and their growth to that damn score, wow. I can't believe this is as good as it is. I definitely can't say everything I want to say about here, but yes, it's a beautiful show, far from a beautiful mess.
