Lost its vision slightly from last season as it’s biggest flaw was that certain episodes only served the grand finale, which compromised the quality & pacing of earlier/mid episodes. But with that said, the quality of certain standalone episodes were on par with some of the best things we’ve seen in the show. Cinematography, directing, production design all elevated to another level. The show ultimately did enough to squander the “its leading us to a perpetual maze” allegations, especially with the bombastic finale. Though I think next season should ultimately be its last & I hope they go for a new, transformative & dynamic direction. High 8. 84
