gilmore girls never beating the best tv show to ever exist allegations! oh this episode is so perfect i am sobbing :”) luke planning the whole surprise party and then staying up all night to make the huge tarp when he found out it was going to rain but still saying to lorelai “it’s no big deal.” <3 the “i just… like to see you happy.” scene is everything to me and i will never stop talking abt how much i love them. emily when she finds out that the friday night dinners are going to continue and richard saying to lorelai, “it takes a remarkable person to inspire all of this.” and emily to rory, “it’s an honor to be your grandmother.” :”) them recreating the last scene of the pilot episode is my fav thing ever it makes me sob profusely every time.
