Severance almost felt like a boiler room show with a tiny developing fan base that loved the thrill and the puzzling aspects of a show that dunks on capitalism with our human tendency of drowning in pain. It was brilliantly done from season 1, completely focusing on building the world within Season 2 bridges that gap showing us more of the outside world and the true meaning and intention behind at all, making this build up into a cathartic promise of events. It does it so masterfully and experimentally with each episode being edited and directed uniquely taking a different direction almost every episode. The way this show pushes emotion through such a satire filled scifi filled premise is brilliant and I hope to see more of these quality of shows come out.
