Begins strong but eventually falls short of the quality season 1 taught us to expect. Every mystery is revealed in an unsatisfying, self-indulgent, or anti-climactic way, and it fundamentally loses what many, including myself, liked about the show.
There was a genuine attempt to further explore the moral mess of severance as a concept but it isn’t as smart as it seems to think it is and I was again left wanting more.
There’s certainly a lot to like here. Incredible cinematography, it’s generally well directed, and the acting is great all around. It just didn’t live up in a lot of ways to what the first season set up I was honestly just disappointed.
