fowler is such a piece of shit. he’s truly despicable. i knew he would try to pull something to save his ass, but why does it actually seem like it’s true what he said ab the maid? mizu girl i know u want ur revenge, but im sure u can find the other two without fowler’s help. he was just saying that so u wouldn’t kill him. by the end of the show, akemi truly was one of my favorite characters. i love the direction they took her character development in. at the beginning, she sought to secure her future by marrying a respectable warrior and someone she thought she loved. and then she lived life outside of her fathers palace and got a taste of what life is really like. and instead of her giving up it just lit a fire under her ass and she turned out to be pretty cool. very interesting that akemi and taigen flipped with their wants and goals. at first it was akemi who wanted a peaceful life and taigen wanted greatness. and at the end i thought it was amazing how they used the background to show the viewers where they stood, akemi on the side of fire and chaos, and taigen on the side where it was sunny and calm. amazing show. i need season two asap!
