I just…oh my god???? The moments that got me: Gemma seeing Mark for the first time right after she exits cold harbor, Helly and Mark S running off together, and then Gemma just screaming for Mark as she’s finally free from lumon (in theory…like she better get outta that damn building) and then Mark S realizing that he has no clue who Gemma is but he can get time with Helly and running off with her anyway and in turn, screwing Mark over…my god. My gut is SCREAMING at innie mark because I have such a soft spot for the complete grief and devastation outie mark is going through, but if you take a beat, like innie mark is essentially being told he’s going to get discarded in some way, helly/helena integration probably won’t happen, and any worth he found in himself is just for outie mark to use…and also like all of the innies here are like young!! They’re in the midst of discovering themselves and then also being controlled by…themselves but also not themselves?? Like where is their autonomy in this? So now I have to calm myself from being mad at innie mark, of course they’d all do the selfish thing for them, they have no loyalty or understanding of their outie selves, not really, only glimpses, which would only frustrate them. But god that hallway shot of Mark S going for Helly and then cutting back to Gemma just screaming for Mark…it’s just fucking heartbreaking. And then cold harbor quite literally being a test of like the most painful grief you could imagine and seeing if your subconscious can sense that in your bones??? God it’s all so fucking bleak right now. But like…Gemma is out?? I’m assuming she’ll be a major character next season??? Would love that. Also people on twitter are saying this but like…was Helly actually Helena at some point in this episode and I just didn’t catch it…cause like…the implications that has…
