god i haven’t sobbed this hard in ages. i was so caught off guard when the episode ended. i didn’t want it to end it just can’t end like that i need closure i need to know if jamie pled guilty or not and everything after that. but i felt that the ending kind of made it better in way but i do wish i could know what happened. overall this was amazing and i haven’t seen anything like it. the fact that this is so realistic made it 10 times better but also more terrifying. these parents had raised two siblings, the first clearly came out just fine. so how did the second turn out the way he did? children should not be left alone for long periods of time but also not berated. the fact that such seemingly harmless mistakes like these can genuinely change the turnout of a kids way of thinking / behaving is genuinely disturbing to me. glad that netflix decided to make something worthy instead of dumb robot movies for once.
