I’m honestly speechless, this was, without a doubt, the best episode of the show so far. The last 10 minutes alone were pure perfection and had me on the edge of my seat. Everything came together so brilliantly: the tension, the despair, and that small glimmer of hope that kept flickering through the chaos. Erwin was absolutely perfect here. His speech? Probably the greatest speech in fiction. The raw determination and sacrifice he showed as he led the Scouts into what was essentially certain death hit hard. Watching him abandon his lifelong dream for the sake of his comrades and their legacy? Unreal writing. That moment sealed his status as one of the best commanders in TV and also one of my fav side characters. The Colossal Titan vs the squad was just as incredible. The sheer destruction Bertholdt unleashed was terrifying, and the way the team still pushed forward with whatever strength they had left was amazing to watch. It was such a desperate, all or nothing effort, and the animation made every second feel intense and visceral. Levi’s scenes were another highlight, the cold focus in his eyes, the weight he was carrying, and how he seemed like the last glimmer of hope left on that battlefield. The whole episode felt like a symphony of chaos and sacrifice, building to a peak that left you breathless by the end.
