Slow start but as soon as Luffy landed that punch it was absolute insanity for the rest of the arc, ending with possibly the best episode so far and a top 15 episode oat 🙏 my biggest issue with one piece until now has been the lack of tension after realising that there’s basically never any meaningful consequences for losing, and that literally nobody dies (even very minor side characters e.g Pell), so although nobody actually died here I’m still glad that it’s finally possible for things to go wrong and hopefully that continues going forward 🤞 Favourite characters: 1. Luffy 2. Zoro 3. Chopper 4. Nami 5. Sanji 6. Robin 7. Usopp 8. Lucci 9. Brook 10. Franky Best episodes: 1. 405 - Final day of the strawhats (#2 episode and #15 episode oat) 2. 396 - Celestial dragon punch 3. 404 - Kizaru and Kuma vs Strawhats and Rayleigh 4. 400 - Rayleigh stories 5. 398 - Luffy, Law and Kid team up #2 arc so far behind enies lobby, slightly too short to be a 5 star but the last ~10 episodes are easily 5 star quality
