Shinji my goat, I think I have a soft spot for depressing characters and things. He’s just like me though! Anyways , in this episode Shinji has basically got shell shock - he’s trying to move away from everything and leave Nerv. It’s quite upsetting and misato, although disappointed and sad - understands the choice. At the end he comes back though. I’ve liked the show up until this point and it’s interesting, the episodes have been getting better too High 4/5
