It’s been awhile since I’ve been at school, but this took me back. Felt so real and authentic to UK schools & kids. It’s chaotic, loud and stressful. You’ve got a handful of bad students and teachers alongside those that are good. And it’s hard to make it through it and survive. I have been concerned about young men, social media and the rise in toxic masculinity ‘influencers’ and red pill content. It’s been sad to see the rise of hatred and the verbal, physical & sexual abuse against women especially from young men. I appreciate Stephen Graham and everyone else involved in creating this to help start the conversation on making others aware of this problem and working together towards tackling this issue. This show is different from a typical crime drama. We’re seeing a different side to the case and people involved. Watching in real time. It’s an interesting take and perspective on a genre where we’ve pretty much seen it all.
