First Glimpse : I don't care abt what anybody else says. I am locked in this drama~❣️ TBH, I don't have much thought while watching this. I am just enjoying every frame with my girl, Yu Shuxin~ ❣️ I feel like this is one of those uncomplicated dramas that you watch just to relax. And after that rollercoaster ride of Filter, and that crazy sweet The Best Thing, and ofc, that heart wrenching yearning love of The First Frost, I think Ski Into Love is the perfect drama to rest my heart. What I love abt this drama (aside from my lowkey love for YXS) is the lighthearted atmosphere despite the serious undertone of their personal conflicts. It doesn't feel too heavy to me. Like I said, I don't have to think much. My emotions are not conflicted. I'm all smiles and giggles. And I think that's the charm of this drama. And I do appreciate Shan Chong already being down bad for our girlie, like, can he get anymore obvious? I love the tension-not tension dynamics between them. When Chong is hyper aware of her presence but Wei Zhi is just being her bubbly-cutesy self~ Men serving their ladies is the hottest, more so when the said lady is not even aware of it~ I have said before that I love the winter feel drama. This is winter, and snow (lots of snow). But somehow, it doesn’t feel all winter at all~ It's that youthful vibe, I guess. This is hands down a very feel good watch and I am just getting a dopamine rush~ 🍬❣️ I also love that WeiZhi is not quick to drive into a conflict but is ready to protect herself and retaliate when she is being targeted. She appears to be easygoing but her actions and thoughts have depth. She's no airhead. She is actually really smart. And she's very decisive with what she wants. And I so love her when she said she doesn't have pride and doesn't care to be compared with others~ (she is so me in this, haha) And another thing, WeiZhi's outfits here are soooo cute~ 🥰 ❣️ She herself is so cute. And I am actually intrigued to read the novel bec it seems very, very lighthearted. And Shan Cong is the typical "I can only be good to my girl" type of guy... Cliché, I know, but it serves well. Esp here bec who can really resist the charm of WeiZhi? And another thing I want to point out abt Lin Yi. I am still amazed at how he could change his demeanor with diff characters. I have seen him in many other dramas and I still find a new side to him. I feel like I'm seeing his diff faces every time I see him in a new project. Give him more years and he's really gonna be amazing... Now, I could not wait to uncover the layers of their characters bec I believe we are just barely scratching their surface... and there are still so many questions that needed answers so...
