investigation feels rushed and answers feel unearned but i suppose budget constraints by Netflix demanded that be the case, so i won't dock those points... concept still seems solid enough. the sanctimonious self jerk off from the former president of an imperialist country however ... feels comical every single time he overtly reminds us that he's "the good guy" that everybody adores & respects (radical leftists aside)... (a us president being any of things immediately switching the crime dramas i turned up for into a sci fi comedy idk) . . . Angela Bassett however is killing it with what she's been offered and i rate that...his daughter too, i forget her name... his interactions with his wife being his most compelling scenes tho.. less, performative. overall, if it wasn't only 4 episodes left i'd abandon it... but let's see if it gets better. (coz these lapses in memory aren't being executed that well either tbh.. nothing is really is keeping me tuned in)
