“I don’t even get a real name, only a purpose” - Conquest circa ep 8 The hype for this Vilutrmite’s arrival has come to make so much sense. I see where most of this season’s budget went towards: Eve finally brought out the Atom, the combos Mark was throwing were enough to feed planets, Oliver never misses any chance to throw hands, just pure heat. So many scenes were so awesomely animated and interactive, I had to back up myself a few times lol. Really awesome conclusion, and they still left so many new storylines to be excited for while completely wrapping up this one, such as the fight- I’m used to shows or movies that would’ve closed with the characters almost dying and leave us to wonder whether they’re dead or not as a cheap means of keeping us hooked for the next release, but I really enjoy how Invincible didn’t need to rely on that method because all of its plots are just that good on their own. **Spoilerish Also Mark is secure as hell when he doesn’t get offended or take Eve’s mourning personal, even when she L-words Rex- not to suggest she’s not valid and you can still love people in different ways- but ik that could’ve gone down very differently if Mark were more immature, so just shoutout to Mark’s maturity and surprising amount of sanity this whole season basically.
