just like baby reindeer last year this miniseries, that came out of nowhere, will be a major contender in every award show. I have no doubt. from a technical standpoint this was an incredible achievement as every episode was filmed in a single take. adding to the intensity of what was happening on screen. acting wise the kid was a standout that fully showcased his range during episode three, however, the father interpretation, during that last scene, was one of the most compelling acting feats I’ve seen in a while which definitely will leave a lasting impression. I was heartbroken and in awe of the unexpected turn the story took. this is not your typical court procedural, its focus on the kid, friends & families’ psyche and aftermath rather than in the trial is what makes it special.
