ok so i actually Was one of those people that saw the original unedited episode btw (when That scene started i got so freaked out i remember i covered my eyes involuntarily LOL) and i actually am Very Glad that they left the part with the parents (mostly) as it originally was. cause that is imo one of the moments the show stops being cringe/weird and actually was very impactful #butanyways mr porter is such an interesting character to me he is so earnest and yet soooo removed from the reality/gravity of some of the things happening. it’s fascinating plus derek luke just has some insane acting chops jeez
