“I don’t care how strong you are. I don’t care how fast you are. I can see the future, you don’t live to see tomorrow.”
Invincible’s best season is still its first… but boy do I have a feeling we’re getting close (Negan reference). I love the amount of mental anguish season three puts Mark under, and how much that changes him as a person (suit and all)—similar to the first. But I still don’t vibe with the structure of the storytelling and how many random side quests there are that amount to very little, and the consistency of how often they appear in the story. It makes me love the resolutions, but hardly ever the road leading up to them. The animation is often choppy (except for the finale and bits here and there in other episodes) which I expected and I’m tired of. Amazon has the money, they have the resources, hire more animators, and give them more time, otherwise it’ll hamper the storytelling because honestly who the fuck wants to look at gold coated in a bunch of shit? Well I guess quite a few people actually because I see them excusing the animation all the time 😭
