19 I feel so sorry for the people who are huge fans of the manga and waited half a decade for this adaptation to come out… because god this sucks. I don’t understand what went wrong since episode one was genuinely good, and then everything—including the animation—went to shit and only kept getting worse. The pacing failed to make me care about anyone or anything happening onscreen, since it’s haphazardly jumping from one creepy occurrence to another without as much as some breathing room, resulting in it feeling like a “best of” compilation except remove the “best of” part… so it’s just a compilation of a bunch of terribly animated moments. Awful. Took me months to finish.
