This is one of the most emotionally devastating series I've ever seen. In just four episodes, it manages to mop the floor with the viewer's feelings.
It shows the dire consequences of a judicial system that is rotten from the inside and has a strong impact on its citizens. From the beginning, the plot displays tremendous political overtones, due to the polarization of street events that are exploited by a radical political sector that finds its way into creating echoes intense enough to move mountains.
The ensemble cast of this miniseries is fantastic. Full of young actors who give their all in each performance, despite their age. The editing has excellent handling of the overall pace, generating tension throughout and offering an irresistible source of empathy. The second half of the series is a slightly more mundane, lowering the emotional level, but no less important in developing a story that leaves everyone with a growing sense of helplessness and anger toward the government system. For even the most skeptical minds, it raises at least a number of significant questions about how things are done, all with a very obvious bias that mars any attempt to do things within the law. Great photography, a good soundtrack, an excellent script, and wonderful performances make for a series recommended only for audiences with a well-formed mind.
