Okay, I have thoughts. I have many thoughts. But let me first say : What a beautiful, beautiful series. I am just overwhelmed... 🥹❣️ Every year, there will be that one drama for me. This year, this is it. I don't have to be in love to feel love. I've never been heartbroken, but I felt my heart break into tiny pieces. It gave me many emotions on the melancholic spectrum of feelings. And I love every second of it~ This drama just showed me a kind of love that yearns and endures and perseveres. That is devoted and passionate and fierce to a fault. There is that pleasant ache that I would keep wanting and wanting to go back to. To be each other's first and only love... Give a love a name and they would call each other. I love how Sang Yan said it : "you are worth it". It just sums up this whole drama for me. ❣️ His love knows no bounds. He gave his all in this love, his everything. And that Wen Yifan was the whole world to him. And I love how Sang Yan is Wen Yifan's light, the only warmth in her life. Her home. Her salvation. Her everything. The only one she wanted to belong to. Their proposal scene is one of the best proposals I've seen in asiandramas, I think. I love how simple it is, but well thought. It was silent but not really. Having the blessing from the important people of their lives makes it meaningful and sweet. I love the awkward way SangYan gave his speech, the nervousness in his voice and the shaking of his hands, the tears. Oh, it just felt so real, so raw~ 💍💐 It fits well that their ending is also where they started. It feels so poetic to me~ I am grateful for BJT and ZRN for their portrayals~ they have given life to the love story of SY and WYF. And I love the soundtrack~🎶 so much. It actually accentuates the mood perfectly. It amplified the emotional scenes in the best way, and made me cry a bucket. This episode is just pure and raw love. I could not contain the emotions it evoked in me. Oh, my heart still aches. I am so happy but I am feeling bittersweet that this is really ending. I know their love will continue in the future where we can't see. But their story has left a dent in my heart that will forever be engraved here~ ♥️ This drama will be remembered and revisited by me in the years to come. 🥹❣️And I don't think I want to move on from this...
