Wrote an entire fucking essay just to accidentally back out of it and delete the whole thing so thanks serialized All in all tho, it’s just fine. There’s this weird feeling that it’s missing something. Feels more like a half baked Daredevil S5 rather than a S4 because of how much of S3 it undoes. So much interesting development was entirely skipped over So many small glimpses of the Netflix show are in this whether it be the scene in Josie’s, the stairway fight, or the Courtroom scene between Matt and Karen. Idk if it’s the reshoots or what but it just feels like they locked tf in for some scenes and goes back to this weird new plot. The pacing, off screen development, and visuals are all genuinely horrible- cannot imagine the stress the new show runners had trying to save the original No matter what happens in the show or what I say tho I’m 100% gonna watch the entire thing just for Charlie Cox and the rest of the cast- the amount of work they put into this just for Feige to barely give a shit about the quality of the final product and thinking a combined show from 2 entirely different directors is good to either of their works is heartbreaking
