I was not expecting much from this so I was very pleasantly surprised. The acting all around in this is phenomenal, but Jenna Coleman’s especially is outsanding. And on top that it actually feels like it’s saying something fresh in such an overdone genre. I was actually really interested in what it was saying about sexism, cycles of abuse, justice, truth, true crime, motherhood, and more. It’s also written very well, from the dialogue to all the twists and turns in the story it’s just very fun to watch this mystery unfold. This is definitely worth a watch if you like competent crime shows and good acting.
