One of the worst seasons in television history. It's a good thing that the beginning isn't bad and that some of the tricks raise the quality of the season, otherwise we'll be on a game of thrones season 8 level. There's practically nothing going right: Dexter's character is at his worst here, uninteresting most of the time and full of plot armor, the secondary characters all suck shit between Debra who's in love with her brother (???), laguerta who's detestable/ bipolar, queen and her teenage crisis, Batista who's becoming redundant. And how can we not mention Travis, who is one of the worst antagonists in the world of television. Boring, filled with TOO MUCH ease, uninteresting characters, almost no good episodes, this season disappoints enormously, preventing Dexter from being considered an excellent series from now on. It remains to be seen whether the last 3 seasons plus the spin-off will raise the level, because the series sincerely needs it. low 1.5 Top 3 characters: (all are bellow 5/10) 1. Dexter 2. Debra 3.
