This episode and the last has probably the biggest contrast in episode quality & interest ever. Incredibly slow-paced, peppered with some nice cinematographic shots but the actual plot development is so minimal & surface-level that an entire episode dedicated to this isn’t justified at all. I read that the biggest flaw this season has been how major plot points have happened but the episodes aren’t fully embracing the consequences yet. Mark began the de-integration process in Episode 3 & we’re yet to see its implications but more importantly, the process is ongoing until we reach a certain point to keep the momentum going. Perhaps that’s why this episode feels so offensive to the tempo & expectations of the audience; plot points have lost their weight. 53
