Amazing plot but the character work was not it. Eren despite being the clear best character by the end was not good at all for the first half of the show. The plot also becomes predictable and dragged on after the rumbling starts and also leads to a rushed and underwhelming ending too. Eren's motivations and switch ups were unsatisfying and pathetic. The ending left zero impact on me whilst having probably the lamest lessons and themes ever. Also season 1 and 2 were too action heavy and constantly reliant on shock plot twists instead of setting up character writing which could've improved the overall cast better. And no I don't care how much foreshadowing exists, it doesn't really improve anything for me. Also Mikasa is bottom 3 female characters oat. Still a good show though
