“Cops are humans” yeah, I’ll believe it when I see it. I just have one question: How the hell can you convict someone without a body? For all you know she could’ve been alive. There were cases where people got amnesia and lived as someone else for x number of years. Obviously, that wasn’t the case here, but they couldn’t know anything for sure. And yet they still somehow took them to trial and incarcerated them for murder. The police had nothing: no murder weapon, no logic, no evidence and NO BODY! And the defence had even less thanks to the corrupted system and police. And Bill Peterson is a piece of shit, may he burn forever. In the end though, I’m not even mad, just baffled that something like this isn’t just a drunken story but a real life event.
