I’d be lying if I said this show was perfect, it’s far from it but, I just can’t help but love it. It has some of the most thrilling, fun, and emotional stories and characters that make each episode addicting. The cast is great across the board, the action is badass, but what truly sets this show apart is the writing behind these characters. Every single one of them goes through a full journey, filled with ups and downs that feel raw and impactful, making their triumphs hit that much harder. William Zabka and Ralph Macchio absolutely made this show what it is, bringing so much depth in their characters, Johnny especially. And beyond them, the young cast is great, injecting the show with energy and charm that keeps it fresh. Cobra Kai works because it makes you care about these characters. We’ve watched them grow, struggle, and evolve, and they’re the reason every fight matters. If the characters didn’t land, none of it would. But thanks to strong writing and performances, everything comes together, episode after episode. Yeah, it went on a little too long, and yeah, it’s so cheesy, but that’s part of the magic. The show embraces its absurdity, and that’s exactly what makes it so entertaining. It’s a ridiculous world with grounded, authentic characters, and that balance is what makes it special. Really gonna miss it. This might be goodbye, but Cobra Kai Never Dies! I can’t wait for Karate Kid Legends.
