Easily the best season of this show so far, I was debating between giving this a 4.5 or a 5 but this has around 4 of the best eppys of the show so far and managed to resolve any small criticisms I had with this show considering how different it is from most sitcoms. One of them being that I always felt that the show really lacked any wholesome moments between the characters, which is expected considering that its satirical and all of these characters are horrible human beings, but it still felt weird that there wasn’t ever an episode dedicated towards them acknowledging that deep down they actually care for one another. Which is why I loved Mac and Dennis’ breakup episode so much it’s by far the funniest episode of the show for me and finally tests the friendship between two characters despite them constantly doing horrible things to one another. I also appreciate how there was little to no attempts at comedy using ‘immature” humor (for lack of a better word) this season, like whenever they would exaggerate someone throwing up, and some other episodes that are just based of stupid things like “who pooped the bed?” which have always been painfully unfunny and cheap attempts at comedy for me. Easily the funniest season by far, the DENNIS system is one of the episodes I’ve laughed the most at in a long time. Top 3 eppys: 1. Mac and Dennis break up 2. The DENNIS System 3.
