I am speechless after last nights episode of Severance and my head will be spinning for days! This episode will get multiple rewatches from me 100%. Their cinematographer directed this episode and you can tell, like damn this episode has this look to it that this show has never had before and the transitions in this episode? They’re perfection and so well thought out. The cinematography and the shots of this show are some of the best and smartest I’ve seen! The way she bent space, time, and emotion to her will? Absolutely masterful. AND it was her directorial debut! It’s the kind of work that makes you sit up, shut up, and feel something different. Just pure, electrifying storytelling at its finest. This episode was beautiful, heartbreaking, confusing, insane, and many WTF moments, but we’ve gotten questions answered that we’ve had for a while. I’d like to say thank you to Jessica Lee Gagné for one of the best directorial debuts ever. Shattering, Absolutely heart wrenching stuff and UNREAL craftsmanship. Come collect your Emmy. Severance cast and crew 11/10 episode. It didn’t feel like an episode, but instead a short film. This is one of my favorite episodes of TV I’ve watched, period.
