It's very okay. I used to have good expectations for this show as the first character artworks were coming out. Then I lost all hope when they posted the clip of Peter getting bitten. The animation in this show is often quite awful, I like what they tried to do with the artstyle, but it rarely works. What I liked is the story, it changes things up a lot, and I feel like we needed that. It's also cool that the show features other heroes and mentions the events of the battle of new york and civil war, but remains a Spiderman show. Huge fan of Norman being Peter's mentor, it's an extremely fun twist, but I wish Peter could have grown more fond of him, that way Norman becoming the Goblin would be more impactful. I wish the Scorpion wasn't the only major villain that Peter fights in this season, we know of so many other villains, but this season just presents them to us. This season is mostly a lot of setting up for the next ones, which is why I hope that by season 2 we get like, at least 3 major villains? Give me an Octavio, Connors and some more teasing for the Goblin. There's a lot more I liked about the story, but the season's nature and the animation made for such slow episodes this far. I would say that I'm excited for the next season, but I'm already concerned by the fact they want to introduce Spider Gwen, THIS SOON. Let spiderman be spiderman for a few more season please...
