The Flames of Disaster! - Wade Whipple
When I heard people saying that this was all but a Knuckles show I thought they were exaggerating, but they really didn't!
This is a pretty mediocre/bad limited series and the worst entry in the Sonic cinematic universe. The main issue, obviously, is the fact that this show really is all about Wade the fucking Whipple, episodes 4 and 5 barely have Knuckles in them, despite episode 4 being the most "Knuckles-y" episode. The humor is quite atrocious, this series must have been written by the same guy who thought of the "konichi-what" joke in movie 3. Nothing is actually funny, the joy that you'll get from this show only comes from ironic enjoyment. The editing is also very weird, I hate the black screens they have when they switch between some scenes, they really take you off.
It's not completely bad tho! As I said, this show is so good when you enjoy it ironically, you will end up either loving or hating Wade Whipple (he's the goat). It's pretty cool that they actually got Sonic and Tails for the first episode, altough they couldn't get James Marsden apparently. Episode 4 is a very fun episode, it has a musical number with puppets about Knuckle's past, teases the flames of disaster, it features a katana motorbike duel against his ex best friend and most importantly Wade Whipple breaks out of a metal cage with a 5 meters high jump (WTF).
Despite the show being painful at times, you will be rewarded by the finale when the classic "the Flames of Disaster" scene comes.
Also I can't get the intro song out of my head, I really dig that JAM
