"Is it gay-" Hualian spotted, so yes. I love this so much. I rewatched season 1 (dubbed this time) to get ready to finally watch season 2, and lord, I missed them. I'm slowly making my way through the novels, and this might just push me to finally face my fear of Volume 4. Hualian literally invented soulmatism, I love them so much it's insane. I genuinely start twitching every time they're mentioned. Also, the foreshadowing? I feel like it's done better in the donghua compared to the novel because here we actually need to see everything rather than just everything from Xie Lian's point of view. One of the big foreshadowing moments for me was when Hua Cheng and the Earth Master saw each other. I fear I'm not ready for the Blackwater Arc. That's why I'm hesitating with the novels lmao. Anyway, I love this universe.
