A much darker episode than the previous ones— not that they haven’t been dark, but this one definitely took things to another level. It was a compelling watch, revealing some truly unsettling aspects of Lumen and what the team is going through.

The way Outie Helly completely disregards Innie Helly as a person was chilling. “I’m a human and you are not” was such a brutal line. Outie Helly feels genuinely terrifying, and I can’t help but wonder what’s really driving her actions.

Burt and Irving’s dynamic was really enjoyable. There’s something oddly wholesome about old gay people bonding over art, and Irving is quickly cementing himself as my favorite character.

Mark’s situation is just tragic. The fact that he can’t even properly grieve Petey because his Innie has no idea who he was is heartbreaking. It really highlights how cruel the severance process is.

Helly’s desperation to escape is reaching dangerous levels, and it makes me wonder— what is her Outie really up to? Why is she so determined to keep her Innie trapped, even to the point where suicide seems like the only way out?
