This was honestly an unexpected episode and I mean that in a very good way, because it was a Hiram Lodge origin episode. It actually gave us a backstory on his life and how he became the way that he is as a person. It felt different for Riverdale and I really liked seeing that. The actor that plays young Hiram Lodge did a really good job as well. He captured a lot of his mannerisms perfectly. Knowing Hiram's origin story actually makes him even more interesting as a character now. This is the best episode of Season 5 (so far). Very good!
