While this miniseries boasts some breathtaking visuals and cinematography with some decent acting, La Palma is overall a messy and shallow miniseries that doesn't capitalize on the chaos and stakes that comes from a situation of natural disaster and also features some weak dialogue and plot elements that either feel underwritten or illogical. The ending was also a real stinker that brought this series down one half a star in rating alone.
