I'd been waiting for this show ever since it was announced, mainly because I adore Rogue One and a show focused on Cassian sounded really interesting to me, as a good opportunity to know his background story (and more Diego Luna ofc 🥰). Always thought I'd love this series, but I honestly never thought it would be THIS good. Cassian was a character I truly cared for before, but he's certainly one of my favourites now. The work this series did with him was incredible. Every other character, either new or not, main or secondary, was well written, complex and important to the story: huge shout-out to Dedra, Mon, Syril, Bix, Luthen and Maarva. Every scene had its purpose and every storyline satisfactorily collided in what's probably the best season finale Star Wars has ever given us. Cinematography, editing, writing, music and directing were the best of the best in each episode and the acting of the entire cast brought much more emotion and complexity to such an intriguing and well-executed story. Thank you Tony Gilroy, Nicholas Britell and every single person behind this show for giving us this unique gem. So happy other people are acknowledging how amazing this series is, it deserves the admiration of everyone, Star Wars fan or not. May we have more series like this one. 💙
